So my ps3, the one i just got back from Sony 3 months and 2 weeks ago failed and got the Yellow Light of Death (YLOD). I called Sony to ask if i was eligible for a free replacement since it was so close to the 90 warranty given with a refurbished unit, of course i wasnt and i now have to give Sony ANOTHER $129 to replace this PS3. sorry babe :( i think the best thing to do is to try and fix it if you can then deactivate all accounts on there then buy a ps3 slim.
